Buyer Protection Policy

1. Our Promise

At Alkebulan Artist Hub, we want you to shop with complete confidence. Every purchase is backed by our Buyer Protection Policy, which ensures you receive authentic, handmade artwork as described, or you get your money back.

2. What Is Covered

  • Item not received: You do not receive your order within the estimated delivery timeframe.
  • Item not as described: The product significantly differs from the listing in materials, dimensions, authenticity, or condition.
  • Damaged in transit: The item arrives damaged due to inadequate packaging or shipping mishandling.
  • Counterfeit or inauthentic work: The piece is determined not to be handmade by the stated artist or lacks claimed cultural authenticity.

3. How to File a Claim

  • Contact the seller first through our messaging system to attempt resolution.
  • If unresolved, file a Buyer Protection claim within 14 days of delivery (or 30 days after the estimated delivery date if not received).
  • Provide photos, descriptions, and any relevant evidence to support your claim.
  • Our support team will review your claim and respond within 7 business days.

4. Resolution Options

Depending on the nature of your claim, we may offer the following resolutions:

  • Full refund to your original payment method.
  • Partial refund if the item has minor discrepancies but is still usable.
  • Return and refund: you ship the item back and receive a full refund upon receipt.
  • Replacement: the artist creates a replacement piece (if feasible and agreed upon).

5. What Is Not Covered

  • Buyer's remorse or change of mind after delivery.
  • Damage caused by the buyer after receipt ( mishandling, accidents, improper storage).
  • Delays caused by customs, import duties, or carrier issues outside the seller's control.
  • Minor variations in handmade items that are inherent to the craft (e.g., slight color differences, natural material imperfections).

6. Authenticity Guarantee

Every artist on our platform has been verified by our Cultural Board. If an item is found to be inauthentic or mass-produced, we will remove the seller from the platform and issue a full refund to affected buyers. We take authenticity seriously — it is the foundation of our marketplace.

7. Secure Checkout

All payments are processed through secure, encrypted channels. Your payment information is never stored on our servers. We partner with trusted payment providers to ensure your financial data remains safe.

8. Communication

We encourage open communication between buyers and artists. Most issues can be resolved directly through respectful dialogue. Our support team is available to mediate when needed and ensure fair outcomes for both parties.
