1. Overview
We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. Because each piece on Alkebulan Artist Hub is handmade and often one-of-a-kind, our return policy balances fairness to buyers with respect for the artists who create these works.
2. Return Eligibility
You may request a return or refund within 14 days of delivery for the following reasons:
- The item is significantly not as described (wrong materials, dimensions, or condition).
- The item arrived damaged due to shipping or packaging issues.
- The item is determined to be inauthentic or not handmade by the stated artist.
- The item was never delivered within 30 days of the estimated delivery date.
3. Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned:
- Custom or made-to-order pieces that were created specifically for you.
- Items damaged by the buyer after delivery.
- Returns requested due to buyer's remorse or change of mind.
- Items returned without original packaging or proper protection.
4. How to Request a Return
- Log into your account and navigate to your order history.
- Select the order and click 'Request Return' or contact our support team.
- Describe the issue and upload clear photos showing the problem.
- Our team will review your request within 3–5 business days.
- If approved, you will receive return instructions and a prepaid shipping label (for eligible cases).
5. Refund Process
- Once the returned item is received and inspected, we will process your refund within 5–7 business days.
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method.
- Shipping costs are refunded only if the return is due to seller error (wrong item, damage, inauthenticity).
- For inauthentic items, you are eligible for a full refund including shipping, and the seller may be removed from the platform.
6. Exchanges
Because most items are one-of-a-kind, direct exchanges are not always possible. If you receive a damaged or incorrect item, we will work with the artist to offer a replacement if feasible, or process a full refund if a replacement cannot be made.
7. Artist Responsibilities
Artists are responsible for accurate listings, careful packaging, and timely shipping. Artists who consistently cause return issues due to misrepresentation or poor packaging may face account review or suspension.
8. Dispute Resolution
If you and the artist cannot agree on a return or refund, Alkebulan Artist Hub will mediate based on evidence provided by both parties. Our decision is final and made in good faith to protect both buyers and the integrity of the platform.
